QuickInvoice

QuickInvoice is a Chrome extension that generates invoices and purchase orders from text you paste, a PDF you upload, or information you type in manually.

Data collection

QuickInvoice itself does not collect, transmit, or share any of your invoice, purchase order, business, or client data. It has no server of its own and no analytics. The one exception, described in full below, is the optional one-time Pro purchase, which is handled by a third-party payment platform rather than by QuickInvoice.

Data storage

Everything you enter — your business information, saved clients/vendors, invoice and PO numbering, invoice history, PO history, appearance preferences, and draft data — is stored only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), using the storage and unlimitedStorage permissions. This data:

• Never leaves your device as part of normal use.
• Is not sent to QuickInvoice's developer or any third party.
• Is not synced to any cloud service.
• Can be permanently deleted at any time by removing the extension, or by clearing its data from chrome://extensions.

One small exception: on the free plan, a monthly PDF-export counter (just a number and a "YYYY-MM" period — no invoice, PO, or business content) is stored using Chrome's built-in storage.sync rather than storage.local, so it travels with your Chrome/Google sign-in the same way your browser settings do. This is solely to prevent the free monthly limit from being reset by uninstalling and reinstalling the extension; it is not accessible to QuickInvoice's developer and contains no identifying or business information.

PDF and text processing

When you upload a PDF or paste text, it is read and parsed entirely inside your browser using a locally bundled copy of pdf.js. The file or text content is never uploaded anywhere.

QuickInvoice Pro (optional one-time purchase)

QuickInvoice Pro is an optional, one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited PDF exports, a custom logo, non-USD currencies, invoice/PO history, and CSV export. It is processed entirely by ExtensionPay, a third-party payment platform — QuickInvoice does not run its own payment or account system. If you choose to upgrade:

• Clicking "Upgrade to Pro" opens a checkout page hosted at extensionpay.com. Any payment details and the email address you use to purchase are collected directly by ExtensionPay (and its payment processor, Stripe), not by QuickInvoice. See ExtensionPay's privacy policy for how they handle that information.
• After a purchase, QuickInvoice stores a purchase-activation key locally and periodically confirms your purchase status by making a request to extensionpay.com. This check happens automatically only after a purchase has been started on that browser — if you never open the Upgrade panel, QuickInvoice makes no network requests at all.
• No invoice, purchase order, business, or client data is ever included in these requests or sent to ExtensionPay.
• "Log in on another device" also opens an ExtensionPay-hosted page, where entering your purchase email restores Pro status via a magic link sent by ExtensionPay.

Permissions

• storage / unlimitedStorage — used exclusively to save the local data described above.
• A content script that runs only on https://extensionpay.com/* — used solely to relay a "purchase completed" signal back to the extension after checkout on that page. It does not read or modify anything else on that page, and does not run on any other website.
